We thank, and praise Allāh for 32 years of service in the cause of Allāh through DIGNITY Magazine, the Universal Message. We thank Allāh for brothers: Ahmad, Hasib, Aqeel The Nubian, Muhammad, and many others, and sisters: Muqarrabah, Bekka, Mukhliseenah, and many others for their contributions, prayers, thoughtfulness, preparations, etc., that made us stronger and more determined. There is something about longevity, purpose, majesty, faith, and love that goes beyond understanding. There is something about organization, free-will, dedication, sincerity, and community-mindedness that surpasses temporariness and establishes institutions.

Valentine's Day 2016 a fire broke out at our headquarters and destroyed our library, computers, photography equipment, many back issues of DIGNITY Magazine, all kinds of reference books, furniture, etc., to the tune of over "a quarter of a million dollars replacement value." What would life be without challenges? What would it be without people on a rescue mission? Allāh came to our aid. Our roof was gone. What damage the fire did not do, the firemen did, but, Allāh... volunteers came from thin air, money came, help came, prayers came, peace came. This is sort of a volunteer army under the Sovereign Lord's command.

With each new issue of DIGNITY Magazine we are meditating on Our Sovereign Lord, we are inviting you to remember Him. "In the Name of Allāh Most Gracious, Most Merciful: By those who range themselves in close ranks and those who drive away with reproof, and by the reciters of the Reminder: your God is One, Lord of the heavens and the earth, and everything between them; Lord of the Easts."—Holy Qurʾān 37:1, and consider this, "Say, 'have you thought: what if this Quran really is from God and you reject it? What if one of the children of lsra-el testifies to its similarity to earlier scripture, and believes in it, and yet you are too arrogant to do the same? God certainly does not guide evil-doers."—Holy Qurʾān 46:10.

As we move further into the 21st century, and face more, and more contemporary Muslim challenges, it is important that we allow the Muslimahs to take center stage, and when we do so our consciousness is turned right-side up. We need more role model wives, and mothers who do not want the lime light, but just want to live Al Islām not as a show, but as a truth—live—real. When a Muslimah gets this message a whole nation is raised!

Lastly, we at DIGNITY Magazine firmly believe that an honest discourse is only possible when we open ourselves to response, criticism, feedback and debate. In this spirit, we invite our readers, supporters and critics to participate in this process.
